Parlons Environnement

Parlons Environnement.

Introduction :

Conclusion :

Introduction :

Conclusion :

Introduction :

Conclusion :

Introduction :

Conclusion :

  • Le principe de proportionnalité et de pertinence : « les informations enregistrées doivent être pertinentes et strictement nécessaires au regard de la finalité du fichier » ;
  • Le principe d’une durée de conservation limitée : « il n’est pas possible de conserver des informations sur des personnes physiques dans un fichier pour une durée indéfinie. Une durée de conservation précise doit être fixée, en fonction du type d’information enregistrée et de la finalité du fichier » ;
  • Le principe de sécurité et de confidentialité : « le responsable du fichier doit garantir la sécurité et la confidentialité des informations qu’il détient. Il doit en particulier veiller à ce que seules les personnes autorisées aient accès à ces informations » ;

Why Ramadan is a great

time for marketers?

Around the world, millions of Muslims celebrate Ramadan, a month of intense prayer, dawn-to-dusk fasting and nightly feasts. Ramadan is one of the greatest times to display and promote your product. Every year,on average, Tunisian advertisers invest nearly 220 million Tunisian dinars in advertising. Television remains the most used network with almost 60% of total investment.

However, with 15 TV channels, the Tunisian market is increasingly competitive during the Ramadan period when the audience rate is the highest of the year.

Let’s think about how specific advertising can be used during specific holidays to hit target audiences when they otherwise wouldn’t be paying as much attention.

For example: Creating Ramadan themed ad content for your particular product or service may catch the eye of a possible target because they’re currently looking for Ramadan and Aid gifts for their family. Since there is a seasonal need for food and gifts during Ramadan, their attention is easier to grab.

This seasonal or holiday-themed approach can be used for pretty much any holiday in which potential customers need a product related to that holiday, like Christmas for example. Ramadan, just like Christmas, has become a season of increased consumerism and attention to shopping.

Marketers need to understand how to effectively market during this season in order to take advantage of many of the  opportunities it contains and to avoid Ramadan marketing mistakes that could be costly When it comes to Ramadan in particular, you can do great things with advertising, especially when it comes to food and cuisine-related products that can be consumed during preand post-fast meals.

One of the most attention-grabbing methods marketers use to advertise their product is iconic symbols of Ramadan, such as :

The Crescent Moon : Widely seen to be one of the most common symbols of Islam today,

The first visible crescent moon marks the beginning of each month, including Ramadan and Shawwal which is the start of Eid AL-Fitr.

Dates : Dates are the first food that is eaten when breaking the fast and have been part of the Ramadan tradition going back to the origins of the religion. Lanterns : Lanterns are commonly strung up in many Muslim countries due to the late hours Muslims keep during this season, especially in Egypt where the tradition began.

Canons : A canon is fired to mark the beginning of breakfast time during Ramadan. The canon is a remnant from a time most Muslims didn’t have watches or clocks but it still remains today as an iconic symbol of Ramadan.

Family get-together : Ramadan is a period of the year ideal to spend quality time with the family. A big extended family gathered around the iftar table is a picture we find in many Ramadan-themed ads.  Successful marketers understand that Ramadan can be a very profitable season when marketing campaigns are executed properly for the right products and services.

These marketers know their target audience, respect their beliefs, and work to develop creative campaigns that align with the theme of Ramadan while driving new interest in their offerings.

The Super Bowl : Sport or Economic one ?

Through these last couple of weeks, the internet was being broken with those super bowl ads, expectations and bets. You don’t even have to be a sport enthusiast to notice the aura of the super bowl now that it became more than just a sporting event.

So what is the Super bowl? And is it really just a sport event? How does it impact the economy and culture?

The Super Bowl is the annual American football game that determines the champion of the National Football League (NFL). The game culminates a season that begins in the previous calendar year, and is the conclusion of the NFL playoffs. The winner receives the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Just think of it as the champions league of the American football, it is something that big.

However through those years, an American concept was built around hosting Super bowls and it was labelled as a ‘windfall’ which means a large amount of money that is won or received unexpectedly, As the NFL claims, the Super bowl 10 days celebrations allegedly drains 400 million dollars instant cash flow. Thus, tax payers spent 500 million dollars on U.S bank stadium, wishing to get their money back by hosting a Super bowl in their local communities. Here’s how Super bowl contributes to the development of cities:

  1-Visibility:

Normally it would take a city millions of dollars worth of advertisement (In 2020 a 30-second commercial reportedly cost between $5 million and $5.6 million), investment and infrastructure to attract tourists, but host a super bowl and the city will get an instant injection of tourists. Studies by the NFL shows that even those who don’t attend the Super bowl tend to visit the city after the game is over. For example this year’s Super bowl was attended by over 65 000 people.

  2-Outsiders spending:

This means the amount of money a non-resident pays, studies have shown that super bowl goers tend to spend double the money other tourists would spend during the peak tourist months.

Statistically speaking, in 2012 more than 150 000 non-residents spent $300 million during the Super bowl held in Indianapolis. Cash flows shows money going to restaurants, hotels, retail stores, cultural attractions and transportation services while also benefiting the city and the state tax coffers.

  3-Locals spending:

This means the amount of money a resident pays, studies made by the NFL shows increase spending of residents, since they don’t have to travel to watch the super bowl they tend to spend the excess money locally which helps promote local small businesses.

  4-Job openings:

Yes that’s true; some businesses recruit more employees during the preparations for the super bowl to face the sudden increase of demand. According to LinkUp, 107 000 job openings were announced during the 2016 super bowl held in Santa Clara. This does help the local economy, since those workers will most likely spend their earnings in the region.

  5-Cultural opportunities:

The super bowl hold more cultural value than a sporting one, and each year it sparks the opportunities for countless marches, shows, competitions. Take a look for example at this year’s Super bowl, it scored the highest level of Super bowl related advertisements and opened the way for companies to touch us with beautiful lessons like the Starbucks’s “every name’s a story” or Google’s “Loretta”.

The Super bowl remains a fun game to watch with your friends and families, and remember like Microsoft 2019 award-winner Super bowl commercial said: “we all win in the end”.

The five keys

to Amazon’s success.

The story of Amazon and its creator, Jeff Bezos, is the story of a small start-up that was born in 1995 in a Seattle garage with the firm purpose of selling books online and that, 23 years later, has become The most important e-commerce company in the world with more than 285 million customers. Very few companies have had a similar growth to the giant led by Bezos. And the truth is that the horizon is even more promising. What is the secret of such success? Bezos, far from hiding it, has repeated: “At Amazon we have three great ideas that we have preserved and that are the reason for our success: put the client first, invent and have patience.”

1.The obsession with the client :

The main key to Amazon’s success is in the client, which is at the center of all decisions. The company constantly thinks about seeking competitive prices, expanding its offer, improving and simplifying the purchase process, facilitating the return of the products to the maximum, evaluating consumer satisfaction and, above all, analyzing each click that users make in Your online store. It is what is known as ‘metric culture’. All the decisions they make are based on the detailed analysis of a huge amount of data structured by objectives. Of these, 80% is related to the consumer. Thus, only the process from when the customer makes his order until he receives it is analyzed by more than 300 different metrics.

  2.Outstanding logistics :

Why do more and more people prefer to buy on Amazon rather than go to a physical establishment? The answer lies in ease and speed. Jeff Bezos’ company has been able to minimize the time between the click of the purchase and the delivery of the product. Amazon offers daily delivery service through Amazon Premium and has come to test drones to deliver packages in the United States.

  3. Diversification :

Amazon has long been not just an ‘online’ store. It is a huge platform that has opted for an increasingly diversified offer of services. Not only does it sell any product we can imagine, but it also offers content (Kindle or Fire TV), video games (Game Studios) or business services (Amazon Web Services). Even so, Bezos and his people do not conform. Amazon’s tentacles also have reached the physical world by opening stores all over the US.

  4.Trust :

Both its economic stability and the spectacular growth that the American giant presents year after year show that Amazon is one of the most successful companies today. And surely, it will continue in the near future. Thus, the accounts that clients make are the best cover letter. They generate enormous optimism and manage to steal the hearts of shareholders and investors, who see Bezos as a safe bet when it comes to investing. If this dynamic continues, its actions could multiply its value in the future.

5.Jeff, a visionary with an innate talent :

But let’s not fool ourselves, much of Amazon’s success has to do with the innate talent of its creator and his vision of the future. We are facing a true visionary. Only in this way is it understood that what was a small ‘online’ bookstore has become a giant that has been able, among other milestones, to gain control of ‘The Washington Post’. The interests of Jeff Bezos go far beyond mere business. Thus, in 2014 he was named the best CEO in the world by the magazine “Harvard Business Review” thanks to the economic achievements made with Amazon.

Tunisian Startups against Covid-19

Coronavirus crisis was tough for our country, its economic threat is still real and we faced severe yet exceptional circumstances.

Overcoming this threat with the minimum of damage it could have done was the fruit of many contributions starting from the government to the people, organizations, associations and civil society.

During this pandemic the Tunisian ecosystem ounce again faced new challenges but startups couldn’t stop innovating, pivoting and creating solutions for the common good of their audiences and society.

  Trust It:

Thanks to their large number of repairers, Trust It launched the initiative Sahrek IT enabling students all over to have access to an online education. Trust IT offered its expertise in repairing devices and with several partners they took in charge students.

Until this moment, Sharek IT repaired 91 devices for students in need and for a better educational experience.

  Artify:

As the first legal streaming platform in Tunisia, Artify, which is now a principle actor in the culture field. After the new lockdown measures and the suspension of all cultural events, the startup pivoted and hosted the 4th edition of ‘Gabes Cinéma Fen’ and the 2nd one of ‘Saha Chribtek Festival’ in order to provide cinema lovers a rich program containing short movies, films and debates.

This is the first experience with digital festivals; on one hand, Artify did its best to offer the best experience possible within the platform and on the other one, it helped producers avoid delaying their calendars.

  Fabskill:

This crisis has been tough for companies as well as employees, especially those who are facing losing their jobs and even students who risk getting deprived from new opportunities.

However, what everyone considered a problem, Fabskill considered it an opportunity. The innovative recruitment platform organized the first digital job fair, hosting 12 startups and more than 50 available opportunities.

This initiative was a huge step demonstrating that the Tunisian ecosystem is always striving for talents and offering opportunities for those who seek them.

  Intigo:

We have certainly all heard about it; a disrupting startup in the logistics field, Intigo found itself facing a new challenge with the lockdown measures. Its CEO Mr Bassem Bouguerra always believed in pivoting and that is exactly what Intigo has made since they found streets empty. They launched a new service enabling people to rent a scooter to take care of their needs; recently they developed a marketplace called IntiShop offering all kinds of groceries and product Tunisians need.

  Seekmake:

Our frontline protectors, the doctors. They recently found themselves armless facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to keep up with our soldiers; Seekmake took the initiative alongside several Fablabs and have produced hundreds of 3d printed masks for hospitals in Nabel. Seekmake is a platform connecting makers to CNC machines and yet another startup took advantage of its expertise for the common good.

“A pivot is a change in strategy without a change in vision” Eric Ries

The startups above and many others made proved how much they understand there customer needs and what they really want in different situations, having this flexibility and the ability to pivot, to impact society in such hard times will surely be rewarding. Strategies change but the vision is always clear for these startups.

The four benefits of

remote work

Confinement, one meter distance, elbow bump, telecommuting, distance learning … all these barrier measures to respond to the coronavirus crisis have brutally disrupted our daily lives and modified our social interactions.

These different obstacles create psychological distance in the minds of individuals. The latter manifests itself when the individual feels close or distant from a person, place, event or object. For example, when we have to go more than a meter to avoid the projection of a colleague’s splutter, this spatial distance that we impose on ourselves turns into a psychological distance. It’s the same when you find yourself forced to work at home or to take a course on a dematerialized platform.

A whole field of literature in social psychology suggests that psychological distance modifies our cognitions, the way of representing our environment, of acting and interacting with others. This modification of our mental representations is an automatic mechanism which allows us to transcend what is psychologically distant from us.

Hidden benefits

With the health crisis we are going through, spatial distance has become essential to protect ourselves and others from contagion. Many people may feel frustrated by this remoteness which hinders and complicates exchanges at work. However, although it is a form of obstacle, distance can have hidden benefits and improve relationships at work or school.

  1. Distance allows you to focus on the essential :

« The tree that hides the forest ». This is a well-known expression which illustrates the situation when one focuses on details to forget the essentials. This way of acting is due to too close proximity to the elements around us and a lack of perspective, of distance. Distance allows you to focus on the essentials and better prioritize. By taking a step back, the individual has an easier time dealing with situations by having a much broader and global shot. This return to basics promotes concentration and efficiency at work.

  2. Distance fosters creativity and optimism :

Being at a distance, everything can seem vague to us because we lack details and precisions. However, the remoteness brings real benefits by allowing the individual to be more creative by producing more original solutions.

When the individual takes a more global perspective, it becomes easier for them to broaden the range of possibilities and find a creative solution to the problem they are facing. For example, in Italy, many people started singing on their balconies to fight boredom, create communion and ease the difficulty of confinement.

On the other hand, by incorporating fewer details that can hinder information processing, distance promotes individual optimism and the ability to succeed.

  3. Distance reduces decision-making difficulty :

Decision-making is at the heart of our daily lives, and especially in a professional context. Once again, distance helps us cool certain tensions and conflicting information. Thus, being far away, the individual has an easier time performing cognitive tasks and making a complex decision.

By adopting a perspective of self-distancing from an event, individuals reduce their feelings as well as their negative affects.

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, although the situation may give way to panic and a lack of understanding of certain measures, the distancing that we must demonstrate will facilitate decision-making at work and reduce the difficulties in the face of certain anxiety-provoking situations.

4.Distance reduces stress and can improve job satisfaction :

With the new regulatory measures, most employees have joined the ranks of teleworkers. Though this method of organization poses questions in terms of control and work, it has advantages in terms of stress management at work, limiting in particular the risks of burnout.

Indeed, teleworking would put the necessary distance for a more serene working relationship and would reduce the stress linked to transport. It is a way to allow the employee to enjoy autonomy in his missions and to reduce travel times; in particular if the worker has a space dedicated to work at home.

Whatever the duration of the telework imposed, this sequence will probably have repercussions on the evolution of mentalities in relation to certain matters such as telework. Perhaps those used to presenteeism will in turn discover the benefits of distance.

How to manage your time during

Ramadan?

This year’s Ramadan is different to a certain point, we may not have experienced such a situation before and everyone is trying to keep up the productivity during these hard Times. That is why we tried to help you adapt with remote work on our previous article. Today we are digging into time management especially in this period of Ramadan.

Ramadan has always been a special month for all Muslims around the world, it is mostly known for fasting, socializing, family gatherings but also for low productivity and performance. However, this is not a fact we can always change it. Here are few tips:

  1) Schedule your day :

There is no perfect plan; instead, there are organized people. Always make sure to have a clear schedule in order not to run out of time during the day.

Having a schedule helps you make sure you separate work/study time from other activities like fast-breaking, family time. Remember to keep up with your daily rituals in order to maintain the balance of your day.

By scheduling your day you may find out in which part of your Ramadhan day is the most productive and therefore you can make it better through days.

  2) Set Goals :

Be Precise! You do not want to just wake up for work with messy ideas, if you are going to manage time in an efficient way; you need to prepare your “to-do list” from the night before and prioritize your tasks.

In that way you can have clear, precise and well organized tasks split all over your study/work shifts according to your schedule.

  3) Be strict and flexible :

Do not go too hard on yourself! Be realistic with the tasks you are asking yourself to achieve. Pushing yourself off the limits can only lead to waste of time and energy.

To do so we suggest the Promadoro Technique, try working by intervals of 25min each one, between them you would have short breaks (3 to 5min) an  after the fourth interval take a longer break (15 to 30min)

This technique may help you transform time from being an enemy to an ally and meet deadlines without time pressure.

  4) Avoid messy sleep time :

Sadly, for most of us sleep time is the first thing to sacrifice in stressful and busy days.

However, a proper time management plan must include getting enough rest regularly. Making regular sleep a priority might even improve your ability to manage your time.Having a regular sleep is the key to master time management and have the most productive life.

Besides to Ramadan, these tips can be helpful in our normal days. What matters the most is that you do not improvise, always have a plan so you can measure your productivity and improve it from time to time.

6 Ultimate Rich People Habits You

Can Adopt Now

We all dream of being successful and rich, we all want to reach that level of luxury and to full fill all of our needs: a luxury car, a big house with a big pool etc…,  but only very few of us understand the sacrifices that has to be made first. So unless you have Jennifer Lopez’s voice or Monica Belluci’s looks (Brad Pitt equivalent for guys), you need to actually start planning on how to become successful rather than dreaming it. And the easiest way to start is to follow the footsteps of people who already made it.

In this article we’ll breakdown for you the 10 ultimate rich and successful people habits that you can adopt right now.

  1-Waking up early:

If we were to choose the NO1 most common habit that all rich people agree on, then this will be it. Tim Cooks, Bill Gates and tons of successful people have said that they are “early birds” which means they get up early in the morning. Start waking up every day at 5:30am you’ll have plenty of time to prepare yourself and follow this new mourning routine.

  2-Eating healthy:

Did you ever question why almost every billionaire out there is not too fat neither too skinny?      Elon Musk, kylie Jenner,Jeff Bezos. All of them are fit, healthy people who take care of what they eat. Matter of fact, Corley found that 57% of wealthy people count calories every day, as opposed to 5% of poor people. He also found that 70% of rich folks eat fewer than 300 calories of junk food per day, but 97% of poor people eat above that mark. You can start today, ditch fast food start eating fruit and vegetables.

   3-Believing that time is money

What does this mean? It means that you assure maximum time efficiency; in a heavy competitive market with big industries a one second delay would cost a fortune. Successful people are aware of that and always try to race against time. You can start today by implementing simple time management skills.

  4-Setting one ultimate goal:

Why only one goal? Meanwhile we all have various ones. This one goal has to represent the biggest one thing you are trying to reach, it’s the goal you’ll envision before you sleep and wake up to. This is very important because you’ll make it your top priority, and then you’ll make sure that all your goal-setting results have to contribute and push you a step closer to that one ultimate goal.

  5-Keeping a daily to do-list:

Another form of goal-setting but unlike setting one ultimate goal writing a daily to-do list helps you track those little goals and helps you reward yourself for little achievements. Start today and start slowly, basic daily goals can be smoking less, making someone happy, hitting the gym and doing some cardio.

6-Reading a lot (but not for pleasure):

Which one of us doesn’t enjoy a harry potter reading session, or a romantic novel or some sci-fi book. We all do, but successful people understand that reading book is a huge investment in terms of time, and as we already said time is money, so the book has to pay them back, Corley states that 86% of wealthy people love reading, as opposed to 26% of poor people.

What they read is just as important as how much: The rich person’s reading material of choice is nonfiction, usually self-improvement. 88% of wealthy people spend at least 30 minutes each day reading on that subject.

If you too want to read something self-improving and non-fictional make sure to check our article “10 skills that’ll guarantee you high paying jobs”  or if you want to know more about Jeff Bezos road to success make sure to read our article “the five keys to Amazon’s success”.

Corona: The Tunisian economy is collapsing… From bad to worse

The coronavirus could be more dangerous for the economy than for humans. And no doubt, this pandemic will change the world.

According to some Tunisian economists, the Coronavirus that appeared in China at the end of the past year has negative repercussions on the world and national economy. And in this respect, it is good to remember that Tunisia expects the worst …

  The real damage:

The president of the Tunisian-African Business Council (TABC) Bassem Loukil explains in a declaration granted to “African Manager”: A crisis has started to emerge in the Tunisian industry due to a shortage of components of base and raw material supplied by China, noting that this country is the first economic engine of the world.

Loukil has explained, for this purpose, that more than 30% of the raw materials used by factories in Tunisia come from China, and the possibility of replacing them or importing them from other countries is difficult, because many components are, only , made in China.  “Companies have started to close their doors in some production lines due to this crisis, and the Tunisian industry is expected to experience losses in the next six months which could range from 30 to 40% of their production capacity”, he said.

On its side, the Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia (CONECT), announced in a statement granted to the electronic site Al-Arabi Al Jadid, a shortage of manufactured and semi-manufactured raw materials, expecting an increase in the crisis in demand for these materials, of which China is the main supplier.

Note that Tunisia’s trade deficit with China during the month of January reached more than 5 billion dinars, or about 1.7 billion dollars.

A blow for tourism and pilgrimage :

The repercussions of the Corona virus have not spared other sectors ; The Tunisian economy is threatened, as evidenced by the cancellation of many reservations for foreign delegations, especially Chinese and Italian.

The general director of the Tunisian National Tourist Office, Nabil Bezouich, explained that reservations canceled in all tourist areas varied between 2000 and 2500, pending confirmed statistics, including in particular the region of Tozeur, given that Chinese tourists are not attracted to seaside tourism and prefer to go to the Sahara.

On Wednesday, March 4th 2020, Minister of Health Abdeltif Mekki announced at a press conference the suspension of crossings from Genoa, Italy, during this period, to reduce the spread of the virus.

The suspension of services and flights continues… Another 42 Tunis-Jeddah and Tunis-Medina charter flights, including 28 Tunisair and 14 Nouvelair flights, were also canceled, following the announcement by Saudi Arabia of the pilgrims’ ban of entry into its territory.

According to the statement by the president of the Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies (FTAV), Jaber Ben Attouche, on Shems FM radio, 42 trips to Umrah have been canceled. “The cost of a trip is estimated at 14,000 dinars, which has caused travel agencies total losses of 200,000 dinars,” he said.

The curse of the Coronavirus on the world economy, astronomical financial losses :

According to what was reported by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the drop in production in China due to the pandemic of the Corona virus resulted in a month loss of 50 billion dollars for every country in the world.

The UN organization also pointed out that 70 airlines have canceled all international flights to and from China. 50 other airlines have reduced their airline operations. It is estimated that Japan could lose $ 1.29 billion in tourism revenue and Thailand $ 1.15 billion.

How do NBA players manage their

money after retirement ?

Over an average NBA career of 7 to 8 years, NBA players, especially the stars, accumulate a lot of money with high standard lifestyles. But once retirement begins, how do these NBA stars manage their money? Two types of personalities: Business men who know how to invest thoughtfully by placing their money in the right boxes for an attractive return on investment. This is called leverage which consists in obtaining significant exposure to a financial market while immobilizing only part of its capital. Then there are those who continue to lead an exaggeratedly high lifestyle without worrying about their pretty jackpot amassed during their heyday, but that unfortunately only lasts for a while. Surrounded by luxury and the best technological equipment, accustomed to traveling in a private jet with their teams, they often continue this lifestyle outside the professional framework. Money is only a traveler for certain stars who sometimes find themselves ruined. And now the answer to your burning question ; Who are they ?

THOSE WHO INTELLIGENTLY INVEST THEIR MONEY

The first name that comes to mind is none other than the legend Michael Jordan. Obviously, not everyone can claim this sporting status. But the owner of the Charlotte Hornets has always known how to make the right choices by investing his money with intelligence. The Hornets precisely, the value of the franchise suddenly increased when the Clippers were sold (buyout for $ 2 billion by Steve Ballmer, co-founder of Microsoft). But also, the Air Jordan brand, a subsidiary of Nike, is also part of its cash egg nest. At 57, Jordan has one of the biggest fortunes in the United States. The famous Forbes magazine estimates the fortune of His Airness, the 1577th richest person on the planet, at more than $2.1 billion.  Another mega star, Magic Johnson, the legendary and emblematic point guard of the Los Angeles Lakers between 1979 and 1996. Magic Johnson, 60, keeps nearly 600 million dollars under his pillow , running a company that has a net worth of $ 700 million. He even built a real estate empire that includes partnerships with AMC Theaters, Starbucks, TGI Fridays or 24 Hour Fitness.  Still in business, LeBron James is also a safe bet. James has invested a sizable portion of his earnings in business pursuits. He owns 19 Blaze Pizza franchises, a minority ownership stake in English soccer club Liverpool, production company SpringHill Entertainment and media brand Uninterrupted, making him the sport’s second billionaire after a certain Michael Jordan.

  THOSE WHO ARE RUINED

Less fortunate, less tenacious in business, inveterate and unreasonable casino players, they were unable to rebound after their NBA career and yet everything could have have been better for them. Rick Mahorn, the former bad boy of the Detroit Pistons, is one of those. Mahorn has pocketed a $7 million contract in 12 years of the NBA. And yet, it is said to be ruined for the time being. Other NBA players, stars of their time, are in the same situation. Kenny Anderson, ex-leader of the New Jersey Nets ($ 63 million contract in 14 years in the NBA), Derrick Coleman of the Nets (91 million in 17 years) or Antoine Walker of the Boston Celtics (108 million in 13 years) have squandered their fortunes like snow melts in the sun.

According to Sports Illustrated magazine, more than 60% of NBA players declare bankruptcy less than 5 years after their retirement.

A sad reality; money, whatever the amount, comes and goes, especially when you don’t know how to manage it.

5 Reasons Why you Need to Take

On An Internship

For us college students, we spend the whole year on a racing pace: studying hard, trying to be prepared for each and every class and of course spending sleepless nights working on projects.

And then com our only window of opportunity to relax and catch-up with our friends: SUMMER, but why would we spend it working in internships (especially if it’s unpaid…). But internships are actually very fruitful and you can even consider it as an investment.

In this article we’ll break down for you the 5 ultimate reasons why should you consider taking on an internship this summer.

  5- BUILDING THE PERFECT RESUME:

As students we always seek to make the perfect CV by spending so much time and energy looking for the perfect template and the best colours. But the truth is that companies don’t care about how does your CV looks like as much as what is in it. A shortcut to building the perfect RESUME is by having internships; they show that you have experience and that you’re accommodated to the work environment. Site some contacts of your previous employees and maybe even a recommendation letter and you’re ready to go.

  4-NETWORKING:

This one is often overlooked; probably one of the most valuable things that you’d get from internships is that list of contacts. Applying in internships will allow you to meet new people, people who are older, more experienced and more successful. This will allow you to share knowledge and exchange contacts. This is ultimately helpful for those who intend to launch their own businesses, as nothing is ever crucial in a start-up then having strong contacts.

  3-GETTING PRACTICAL:

This means having real work experience, classes are boring and the reason they’re boring because they are heavily focused on theoretical learning, meanwhile on an internship, you get the chance to truly get practical and learn more about your domain and how things get done; internships will give you the ultimate opportunity to apply what you have learned in work conditions. Also you get to work without too much pressure as no one is expecting you to be an expert you’re there to learn and they know it.

  2-CHOOSING THE RIGH PATH:

How’s that? Internships usually lasts around 2 to 4 months, that’s long enough to know your industry and what works best for you. For example if you do 3 months in a bank and 3 others in another company, you will know what works better for you and that will help you on choosing the right path whether you want to perceive your career in a bank or in a marketing company or maybe even launching your own business; going on internships will make you experiment different industries and work environments so you can identify what is that suits you best.

  1-BUILDING AND DEVELOPPING YOUR SKILLS:

Last but definitely not least, internships will help you build your experience, shape your personality and sharpen your skills. It’s the perfect solid ground for you to communicate, exchange knowledge and build confidence. You’ll have to talk with people with important positions and communicate details and ideas and since you’ll work in teams you’ll learn how to team work.

To conclude, internships aren’t a waste of time as some of us may think, but they’re rather fruitful and highly cultivating experiences. Think of it as an investment in your own self and give it a try, you won’t regret it.

How Facebook lost $7 Billion ?

In one month, the largest social network Facbook lost $7 Billions ! this amount may increase and may cost Facebook inc more than financial troubles, what’s more important is there credibility ! How it all began ?

Facebook has long been accused of failing to take action against content that promotes racism, hatred and misinformation.

With the beginning of the ‘Black lives matter’ movement the president Donald Trump kept on violating people through many posts on his personal page on Facebook. Many of them were seen as contributing to misinformation diffusion and violence inciting especially when Donald Trump wrote ‘when the looting starts, the shooting starts’ with no reaction from Facebook. This pushed many companies to start a boycott against Facebook paid ADs.

A whole compain began with the name of #StopHateForProfit, many companies joined and started to postpone there paid ADs on Facebook, some of them for 30 days and others till the rise of 2021.

Many companies like The North Face, Volkswagen, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Unilever and many others among more than 750 firms ! The movement attracted big names firms pushing Mark Zuckerburg to change his policies. The groups claim Facebook has not done enough to keep racist, false and dangerous content off its platform and allowed users to call for violence against protesters fighting for racial justice in the wake of the deaths of several Black Americans.

Till now Mark Zuckerbug has lost more than $7 Billion of his personal net worth and getting knocked down from the third place to fourth richest man alive since Louis Vuitton’s owner surpassed him.

As a reaction Facebook claimed in a statement that the company is investing billions every year to keep users safe and works with outside experts to update its policies.

“We know we have more work to do, and we’ll continue to work with civil rights groups and other experts to develop even more tools, technology and policies to continue this fight.” Said Ruchika Budhraja Facebook’s spokeswoman.

Facebook also promised to hire a civil rights position.

From another side The company has 8 million advertisers, which generated almost all of its $70 billion in ad revenue last year. Most of them are small businesses ! maybe financially the impact will not be that damaging form Facebook but certainly its PR strategy must change or they will be facing losing what’s more valuable than money, which is their credibility !

there were 2.6 billion monthly active users on Facebook as of the first quarter of 2020, making it the biggest social network worldwide. Such numbers come with a minimum of resposability. Facebook is now facing a hard time, choosing between politicians power and big names revolt. It is a new challenge for the company !

Call on a professional who will be able to integrate interesting links from your website on the page of social networks where you are present. This method is practically common to all companies. It is one of the flagship methods for successful businesses in the 21st century.

  4/ Street-marketing :

Most companies are reluctant to reach out to customers. Street-marketing is a technique which consists in making a physical contact with the potential customer. Indeed, the street is also an effective way to advertise on a small budget. The company can organize proximity sales campaigns to let people know about its activity. For example, the company can invite artists to make attractive paintings that will reflect the activity carried out by the company, with 1 QR Code that will send them to the company’s website.

  5/ Partnerships :

The technique of Webmarketing is an effective way to forge partnerships with third-party companies. You can publish articles from third party websites that have high traffic. You can involve your business in trade shows for good visibility. Also, it is best to go to structures with which you have common interests. These are called win-win partnerships.

  6/ Make events :

Festive events and other events (seminars, trade shows, networking meetings, etc.) are an opportunity for the company to prospect and attract new customers. It’s a boon for the company to build a strong network that will bring added value. Opt for advertising totems that you can personalize with messages to reach a specific customer category. With Webmarketing, you can mark your presence on the websites of these events. For example, you have the opportunity to develop fun activities and take the opportunity to convey the message.

7/ The creation of discussion spaces:

the blog : On your company’s website, it’s important to create a blogging space. Today the blog is very well known. It remains a space which brings added value to the human dimension of the website. Properly referencing the contents of your blog is a solution to make you appear in the best positions of the search engine results. This space helps increase traffic to your business website.

8/ Be creative in advertising communication :

: In order to interest the greatest number of Internet users, it is important to create original or humorous events. This is for example the case of contests or other videos which, broadcast on social networks, can make the buzz of your business. This technique is a very good option to make yourself more visible at a lower cost. Also, on YouTube, you can make a video that answers an important question that the majority of Internet users ask.

  9/ Build customer loyalty :

One thing you don’t often see is the client himself. Indeed, a satisfied and loyal customer remains a better seller and advertises your business better. He has enough information to convince anyone. Building loyalty makes them exclusive representatives of your company. You can collect their testimonials on the blog of your company’s website or offer your products or services to loved ones.

The development of a business can only be done through communication. Advertising is one of the means of communication by which the company reaches the hearts of its customers.

10 Skills And Assets That Will Guarantee

You a Bright Career

The world is in an ever increasing pace of development, our lifestyles became busy and with arising of the 20th century dream, everyone is just chasing after better opportunities and brighter careers.

But out there, there are a lot of students, workers and engineers that are seeking the same goal you’re after. So  what’s is going to make you special ( we mean better of course) and have you get that job out of many others. Well according to the World Economic Forum (WEF), the answer is simple. After surveying 350 executives from 9 industries in 15 of the world’s biggest economies, they came up with a set of skills that will land you the highest paid jobs by 2020.

In this article, we won’t just state for you these skills that’ll make sure you get high-paying jobs, but we’ll also guide you through assets you have to adopt to impress everyone and kick-start your current (or future) career.

Here are the top 10 skills that employers are demanding for 2020:

  10. Cognitive flexibility:

Not sure what this means? It means generally having mental flexibility. This includes logical reasoning and problem sensitivity. It also means that you can adapt your speech based on the person you’re talking to; employers don’t expect you to talk to their customers the same way you talk to their suppliers.

  9. Negotiation skills:

Well you’ve probably seen this one coming, simply because you cannot enter the new world’s economy without having communication skills and that’s mainly negotiation. Mastering the art of negotiation will make companies eager to recruit you; Being a fierce negotiator guarantees a company maximum profitability as you’d assure least expenses whether you’re negotiating with a supplier, or maximum benefits if you’re negotiating with a potential buyer.

  8. Service orientation:

Now this one is often ignored by young job seekers or employees, Service orientation means how much you care for other people, and how much you’re actively trying to help those in need. How much you’re known for being a helper in your office; It’s not always about being the most ambitious and hard worker sometimes it’s about how much of a good friend you are.

  7. Judgement and decision making:

This one is for you BI students and graduates out there, modern companies keep on harvesting data from different sources. And with that rises a need for smart people who can analyze those data and make intelligent decisions. Judgement however isn’t based on numbers or analysis, it’s about your own senses, whether you feel that a supplier isn’t committed or that a co-worker will ruin your team; Always trust your senses and don’t be hesitant to talk to your supervisor or directly to your boss.

  6. Emotional intelligence:

Today with the spring up of robotics and artificial intelligence, and even though they do outreach workers in terms of productivity, they still can’t understand humans. Companies will hire those who are aware of others feelings, and who can help them overcome their emotions and who can also control their own feelings as well; in the end we’re humans and sometimes we will go through bad days, emotional intelligence is the ability to know when others are going through their bad days and to control your emotions and never let them hinder your productivity on your bad days.

  5. Team working:

Now as you advance with your career, you’ll have to work more and more in groups to solve a problem or to overcome a situation, and you won’t always work with friendly people, some people are just unfriendly and annoying. Team working means you can set your differences and personal thoughts about a person aside, and to cooperate with them all along the project; never let personal relations affect your job or your professionalism.

  4. People management:

Ever heard of the saying “the right man in the right place”? That’s basically everything people management is about, it’s about identifying the right people to hire and where they will operate more efficiently. Your people management skills interprets how close you are to your team/staff; example try to avoid putting two people who don’t get along in the same team.

  3. Creativity:

Well yes, you don’t have to be a painter or a designer to be creative. Whether you’re a developer or an engineer there’s always some place for creativity in your job. Companies seek those who have a high creativity because creativity encourages innovation and well, if you’re innovative then you’re simply hired.

  2. Critical thinking:

In a world where the implementation of machinery and algorithms is sky rocking, the need for people who can use logic and reasons increases. Because no matter how advanced robots can be they’re always prone for mistakes, that’s why there has to be people who can always make a second check to help keep everything’s in place; critical thinking is critical for a reason, those who implement it can always benefit their companies by searching and finding ways to use technology (or anything else) to improve: work condition, revenues and productivity.

  1. Complex-problem solving:

As its name implies, complex problem-solving is about solving complex problems. Even though all you career is about solving problems, but this skills is quite different, it’s about how you react in times of crisis, pressure or just when your company is running short on time. CPS is about handling and overcoming problems that are not usually faced, let’s say when a whole factory shuts down because of an error in the software, problem solving will be to shutdown the factory until the problem is solved, meanwhile complex problem solving is finding a way to keep the factory rolling and fixing the problem simultaneously and in a very brief time.

Bonus tip: always look after yourself in terms of fashion, grooming. A person of style is a person of attitude. Aside from earning that kickass first time impression giving attention to the way you look shows that you give attention for other things as well.

Now, you know what you have to implement to make you highly competitive and have nobody else except you nail that job interview or receive that promotion, so what are you waiting for?

Huawei vs apple : an unstoppable force

meets an immovable object

It doesn’t take to be a mobile phone geek or a tech expert to know about Apple and Huawei. It’s almost like you can’t skip a day without seeing an Iphone or a Huawei.

In this article we’ll break down for you the rivalry between these two beasts.

The competition between Apple and Huawei isn’t just another two large companies trying to knock out each other, it’s actually forming into an idea; it’s the east versus the west, it’s affordability versus luxury, it answers the irresistible force paradox: what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

Huawei is literally an unstoppable force, it has been growing nonstop for the last 10 years, scoring each year a remarkable net growth jumping from 20 billion dollars in 2009 to 120 billion dollars by the end of 2019. On the Chinese market and during the third quarter of 2019, Huawei reported a 66% growth rate meanwhile every other mobile phone retailer is living a decline especially apple which reportedly shrunk by 24%.

Despite apple’s unexpected loss in china, the company scores magnificently on a global scale. The American multinational technology company based in Cupertino, California managed to become the world’s first trillion dollar company beating Amazon on 2018’s second quarter.

Apple deserves the title of immovable object.Revenue from its services division hit an all-time high of $11.5 billion. The company employs 123,000 full-time employees and maintains 504 retail stores in 24 countries as of 2018. It operates the iTunes Store, which is the world’s largest music retailer. As of January 2018, more than 1.3 billion Apple products are actively in use worldwide. The company also has a high level of brand loyalty and is ranked as the world’s most valuable brand.

Huawei also earned being called an unstoppable force, with the Shenzhen, China headquartered company facing two of the toughest years of its lifetime with the United States government trying to put an end to Huawei’s never ending development.

On Jan. 29, 2019: US hammers Huawei with 23 indictments for alleged trade secret theft and fraud, Costing Huawei a 30 billion dollars expected loss. Yet, the Chinese company survives realizing 121.72 billion dollars by the end of 2019.

But everyone knew that eventually both Apple and Huawei will have to clash and only one company would continue to aspire, which actually happened. On Aug. 1, 2018 Huawei beats apple and places second on global Smartphone retailer with Samsung being the first, Huawei second followed by apple.

If you’re asking about the answer to the paradox, you have to keep following up, Huawei taking down apple on smartphones market is just the beginning. Both companies are active in up to 5 other domains other than phones retailing and they’re aggressively competing more than ever.

The results of this competition will change the tech markets forever.

Will Elon Musk’s Neuralink shape

humanity’s future?

By this point, we all became familiar with Elon musk’s peculiar Ideas; space tourism, flying cars, free internet and bombing mars with thermonuclear missiles to create a living atmosphere. The man is a box of outrageous ideas. He keeps surprising both critics and fans. But at this point, people no longer mock his speculations since he built himself a reputation of making the impossible possible.

But this year, there’s been increasing staggering to his company Neuralink  that’s been around since 2016.

So why’s the hype now?

Neuralink, founded -in 2016 and reported public in 2017- by Elon musk and others, is an American neuro-technology company developing implantable brain-machine interfaces (BMIs). Ever since its creation, the company has remained highly secretive about its activity, until now.

The company revealed its project, a “sewing-like machine” that’s capable of implanting very thin threads into the human brain. Machinery-wise it’ll be a chip with threads that can interface at broadband speed, with other gadgets like prosthetics or pretty much anything that has internet connectivity.

Our brains function through a large network of neurons communicating through neurotransmitters at the connection points known as synapses. These neurotransmitters are released in response to electrical spikes called action potentials. Everything that we perceive, feel, hear and think are essentially these neural spikes. The robotic apparatus fits perfectly in the neurological environement of our brains which could lead to symbioses with the foreign object.

Elon musk stated that the company’s primary target is brain-injured individuals. The robotic chip will function with ultra-high bandwidth to help people in need with their everyday lives and it can even predict and prevent strokes.

With that being said, Elon didn’t deny his future intentions for the corporation. As a matter of fact, on numerous occasions, Elon did show his true aspirings and fears revolving around AI. To quote a few:

« With [any] AI scenario, we will be left behind. With a high bandwidth, brain-machine interface, we can actually go along for the ride. »

« I hope they’re (AI –beings-) nice. I mean, I have obviously, some, you know, I think in a situation where if you, you know, the old saying, if you can’t beat them, join them. You know, that’s what Neuralink is about. »

Even though Neuralink is currently all about improving humanity’s welfare, Elon didn’t deny the eventual human/AI symbiosis, and well not like marvel symbiotes, but Elon stated his fears quoting “ machines can already function at a trillion bit per second, humans input is capped at 10 bits per second”

Introduce developed AI to such power and it’ll surpass the smartest humans ever, Our entire race will have to face extinction and the only way to not fall prey to the evolution game is to stay ahead of it. Musk then states in defense of the Idea;

“We are already a cyborg. Because we are so well integrated with our phones and our computers.”

And well he has a point, humans have became so dependant with not just their phones but with this entire technological atmosphere: TVs , fridges, ACs.

Elon even compared them to limbs “you feel like you’re missing a limb when you don’t have your phone with you”.

Still the billionaire didn’t hinder the possible risks to such symbiosis. The main problem with these is security, sure anyone can hack your phone and your laptop but when a device directly linked to your brain gets corrupted, the odds are it could even be fatal.

Is Elon musk being too extravagant with such idea? Will the device even show connection with human minds? Or probably the other way around, will our brains interact with a foreign object as if it was a network of nerves?

The human trials start this year, and Neuralink ends up leaving us with more questions than answers.

Why should you call a Junior Entreprise?

Junior-Enterprises have established themselves as key players in the job market. They offer students the opportunity to discover the professional world in the best possible way: by participating. They allow all types of companies to entrust the talents and leaders of tomorrow with the realization of missions.

Here are a few reasons that will certainly convince you to call a Junior Entreprise :

  Quality :

Even if Junior Entrepreneurs are students, whether they are administrators or consultants, they always show great seriousness. In addition to their studies, they chose to invest in the Junior Entreprise of their university to put their knowledge into practice and bring their expertise to real customers. Whatever the objectives and the deadlines set, the Junior Entrepreneurs do everything possible to fulfill the mission on time and fully satisfy the client. Quality and organization are the key words of every Junior Entrepreneur!

  Reliability:

Collaborating with a Junior Entreprise means putting your project in the hands of competent students supervised by legislation rigorously established by the JET. This legislation is adapted to the requirements of this type of structure. In Tunisia, each Junior Entreprise is supervised and inspected by the JET annually in order to take stock of its financial and administrative management. Such a mode of operation allows the JET to ensure compliance with laws and obligations.

  Dynamism:

Being a Junior Entrepreneur is not just about being a student who is becoming professional. It is the daily desire to innovate, build skills and discover new talent. Junior Entrepreneurs not only apply the teachings of their university, they go beyond their limits and are always looking for new challenges. Capable of adapting to any environment, these students evolve in many fields: scientific, literary, academic, commercial, artistic, etc. Anything is achievable!

  Innovation:

Applying to a Junior Enterprise defies other company norms. Because working with a Junior Company is collaborating with a structure operating on the model of a start-up whose young modern members will bring a new and innovative look on your projects. The numerous events organized by Junior Entreprises, in Tunisia and abroad, allow students to meet and discuss their experiences in an informal setting while discovering new ways of working. It’s also a time when junior entrepreneurs get up to date with the latest trends in the job market thanks to the partnerships of the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises (JET). Thus, large and prestigious groups provide training and give these students the power to offer a different experience to the companies for which they work.

  The social challenge:

By entrusting your projects to a Junior Entreprise, you participate in the training of your future employees. You allow students to build a solid work experience while offering consultants the opportunity to be validated for their work, which for some is a great help. At SMA Junior, we give students of various backgrounds the opportunity to apply their skills in content creation and marketing when carrying out assignments for our clients … This journey within a Junior Company then becomes one of their best assets when joining the world of “real” companies.

  Attractive prices:

In times of crisis, counseling can be considered a luxury. Not here. Luxury is the quality of our services for such competitive prices! Thanks to our associative status, our services are partly subject to payroll taxes, which allows us to offer attractive prices.

To trust a Junior Entreprise is to help students build their future.

Do not hesitate and take the plunge: entrust your projects to a Junior Company!

Tunisia Works 4.0 :

From students, to students

The Junior Enterprise SMA (Smart Marketing Advisors) of the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis organized on December 11th, 2019 the fourth edition of its event of the year, Tunisia Works 4.0, a career day held on the premises of UTICA, Tunis, placed under the slogan “from students to students”. A rich program composed, first of all, of a job fair open to students who were able to meet several companies and organizations such as le manager, Yassir, Axefinance, Four seasons, Linedata, UIB etc… who stood in search of candidates for internships and/or hiring opportunities.

Two of our exhibitors, Vsober ; a virtual reality distraction application, and Sanus, healthy snacks brand, had everyone queuing up at their stall to try their products.

For the second part of the event, the organizers prepared a diverse program of conferences on central themes of employment under the title ‘’ONE DREAM, TWO PATHS’’ where the presence of representatives of companies who came to share their experiences and their success stories was noted.

A smooth exchange between the speakers and the audience was ensured by our moderator Nada Mansour, Express Fm Radio presenter, who gave each part the exposure they needed or hoped for. Thus, the attendees were able to follow with great attention the interventions of guest executives ; Mr.Noomen Fehri, general director of « BiatLabs », Mr.Mondher Ghazalli, general director of « UIB », Mr.Nizar Chaari, general director of «Tunivisions» and Mr.Ouissem Ghorbell, general director of « Matine Consulting ».

As well as the interventions of guest entrepreneurs ; Mrs.Souad Annabi, Co-Founder of « People Performance Management », Mr.Tarek Lassadi, Co-Founder of « Traveltodo » and Mr.Anis Kallel, Co-Founder of « Kaoun ».

Consequently, the students were allowed to debate, in a participative dynamic and relaxed atmosphere, the challenges of the job market and discuss concrete and pragmatic solutions to better face them.

Here at SMA Junior Entreprise, we aim at a work culture of constant improvement, that’s why Tunisia Works 4.0 was a better, more variegated extention of the previous editions ; an achievement that comes with the great responsibility of a promised distinctive next edition. In the end, we would like to thank our speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and every student who made a success of our event by attending and sharing their thoughts and hopes for their existing or future careers.

The implication of Artificial Intelligence in Today’s Marketing.

Artificial Intelligence has advanced beyond being a fashionable mention. Marketers are already grasping the power of AI to achieve a great level of understanding of their buyers. They can automate tasks, improve processes and workflows and personalize content. According to Salesforce, 51% of marketers currently use AI. In fact, almost $5 billion dollars of venture capital was invested into US AI startups in 2017 alone. This trend shows no sign of slowing down!

To further explain how this trend has shaken the concept of marketing as we know it, here are a few of its applications and key examples :

  PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS :

Predictive analytics is based on the use of data mining, statistical algorithms, modeling, machine learning and deep learning techniques to identify the probability of future outcomes based on historical data. For example, a fashion retailer, based on the jacket you just bought online, can use your data to decide which shoes to recommend as your next purchase based on historical behaviour that other customers have had in the past. But the implications are much bigger than that..

  EMAIL MARKETING :

Using machine learning, you can analyze your users’ behavioral data to determine things like
ideal send time, recommended frequency and the most effective subject line. So with AI, you
can fully personalize your email campaigns for each customer. You can actually do this today
using tools such as Phrasee, Boomtrain and Persado.

  WEB DESIGN :

If you thought a nice website couldn’t exist without the help of a coder or a web designer, well.. that’s no longer the case. Today, there are AI tools such as B12 and Grid, that use artificial intelligence to design a website. You simply setup your preference and click a button, and there you go, you have a website!

  PERSONALIZED AD SERVING :

Whether you are running Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or doing any online marketing it’s important to look at how you can create a more targeted message that will drive results. Deep learning algorithms can analyze vast amounts of demographic and behavioral data to determine which ads perform best and on which people and at what stage in the buying process. This is clearly one of the most advanced and effective use cases of AI in marketing advertising. It powers nearly $200 billion digital ad industry in the US alone.

  DYNAMIC PRICING :

Dynamic pricing is a very powerful tool that optimizes prices based on sales, consumer demand and real-time availability. Thanks to advanced machine learning models, it’s now possible to totally automate the pricing process, therefore increasing margins and sales, achieving maximum profit and saving money on operative costs so that buyers are guaranteed a more accurate value for their purchase .

  CHATBOTS :

Many brands have started to communicate with their consumers using messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Slack. They’re fast and easy since consumers are already using these tools to chat with  friends and colleagues, and let’s get real, no one likes to wait for a response on the phone. These bots use natural language processing and deep learning to find the correct response. Chatbots also have many other super important advantages; they serve clients 24/7, they retain their data, and most importantly, chatbots
never get angry!

To summarize this, at the end of the day, smart marketing decisions boil down to how well a business know their target audience. When dealing with thousands, or even millions of customer interactions, it’s impossible to know and understand each individual on a personal level. Artificial Intelligence makes that possible by analyzing enormous amounts of data gathered from campaigns, social interactions and engagements and it makes it possible to know every individual user through their unique data profile. And that means accurate personalization at scale, something that was never available to the average marketer.
